Mary Davis Hancock got busy on the basepaths on Monday, knocking four hits in JICH JV Trojans 13-7 victory over May River.

Hancock doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth. May River scored five runs in the fifth inning, but JICH JV Trojans still managed to pull out the victory.

The Trojans got on the board in the first inning when Hancock doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. The Trojans put up seven runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower was led by Reagan White, Hancock, Gracey Dennis, and Hunter Chesser, who all drove in runs.

Hancock led the Trojans to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The righty went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five. Ava Grace Luckie threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Hancock went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead JICH JV Trojans in hits.
