JI Boys Golf – Patriot Invitational Golf Tournament

The James Island Trojan golf team finished in 11th place out of 23 teams Sunday and Monday. We lost a lot of seniors last year so this was a solid showing. Connor Heyboer was our low 2 day total of 166. He was followed by Jackson McGowan with 168 and John Wohlscheid with a 169.

Senior Drayton Stewart Plays in North/South All-Star Match

Congratulations to Drayton Stewart! His South team won their Ryder Cup-Style matches in the North/South All-Star matches this weekend for all the top players in the state. South won 8.5 to 7.5. Varsity Boys Golf Finishes 8th In The State

Congratulations to the Boys Golf team as they finished 8th in the State. Drayton Stewart made All-State and finished 2nd in the State Individually.    

Varsity Boys Golf Heads to State

The JI Varsity Boys Golf Team placed 3rd out of 16 at Lower state! Drayton Stewart -3 (69) medalist! Jackson McGowan +1 (73), 4th overall! They travel to Lexington next week for the state tournament. Wish them luck!

The Varsity boys golf team won the region 7 – 5A class, as Wando finished second, then Berkeley, Stratford, Cane Bay, and Goose Creek.
